Floral City Historic Homes Tour

The ever-popular Floral City Tour of Historic Homes is presented once a year during Heritage Days on the first Saturday in December. Owners open their homes to visitors for viewing of the restored structures, presenting a unique look at interiors of days gone by.

The historic buildings of Floral City represent an important cluster of cultural resources. The structures were constructed by master carpenters or lay builders who drew upon traditional building techniques and personal preferences for their inspiration. The result is a rich variety of styles, materials and features.
Many of these historic homes and buildings, all clad in Christmas decor, will be open this year to the public for one day, Saturday, with a nominally priced Tour Ticket.

Warm and friendly costumed home owners and residents welcome visitors at each private home. The majority are clustered within a block or two of each other under the moss-draped live oaks in Floral City's historic district.

This tour of the Floral City historic homes is available every year at the annual Heritage Days celebration.
